The 2018 FKP Roadshow was conducted in three cities, hosted by Universitas Syiah Kuala in Banda Aceh (11 February), Universitas Jember in Jember (12 February), and Universitas Hasanuddin in Makassar (14 February). In total, more than 430 people attended the FKP Roadshow in the three cities, showing that there is significant interest in the SDGs from an academic point of view.
The first stop for the Roadshow was Universitas Syiah Kuala in Banda Aceh, with speakers Arief Anshory Yusuf (SDGs Center, Universitas Padjadjaran), Sarah Dong (ANU Indonesia Project) and Syarifah Liza Munira (Faculty of Economics, Universitas Indonesia – FEB UI) and Zulham (Universitas Syiah Kuala). About 150 people attended the event, and the Head of the Department of Economics opened the seminar. The FKP Roadshow is always very popular at Universitas Syiah Kuala, and this year is no exception as the it was standing room only, and some latecomers were even not able to get into the room as it was full.
The second day of the Roadshow was at Universitas Jember, where more than 200 people attended the seminar. Ahmad Komarulzaman took over from Arief Yusuf to represent the SDGs Center of Universitas Padjadjaran and Adhitya Wardhono (Universitas Jember) joined the panel.
Students and lecturers spent Valentine’s Day discussing the SDGs at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Hasanuddin on 14 February. Sanusi Fattah represented Universitas Hasanuddin on the panel. About 80 people were in attendance.
