As the COVID-19 pandemic enters a phase of controlled spread in Indonesia, policy makers face a challenge of steering the economy to the ‘normal’ track. In this seminar, Dr Iwan Hermawan (Indonesia National Research and Innovation Agency/BRIN) will discuss trade policy and Dr Phanida Roidoung (Public debt management Office, Ministry of Finance, Thailand) will discuss fiscal policy, both in terms of guiding the economy through recovery post pandemic.
